Jmol test in Blogger


Here is a short test to see if I can display a Jmol applet in a blog post.  I don't currently have access to a server to host the jmol applet, so for this test I am linking to the applet, script and molecule files on the Jmol Samples page.

Hi, I see the posted java block in yellow.

I have a question, some decades ago I saw an article that said we can have a 7th carbon atom in a benzene ring in the center- and that crystallographers had listed these in case some ever were found.

But I cannot find anything on the net past all the fullerine craze.
Do you know if such a molecule is possible?
